Constructive Criticism

Research speeches are here! I will be giving my speech tomorrow in class, and although I am nervous, I feel that everything will go smoothly. I am eager to get feedback about my public speaking, so the grade is not something I am stressing about. Criticism is not something I have shyed away from in the past, and is definitely a key part of ISM.
Furthermore, the original work aspect of ISM is here, and although I was primarily unsure of what to do, the feedback I got from my peers this week has helped me clarify what exactly to do. I will be focusing on ankle sprains due to their prevalence and high frequency in sports. I also have an interview coming up this Tuesday, and I am excited for this interview in particular because it is with a physical therapist; up to this point, I have only interviewed orthopedic surgeons, and it will be interesting to get a fresh look on my original work and get that much closer to having a mentor.
Speaking of mentors, I feel that I will get so much insight and guidance from whoever I am lucky enough to get, and regardless of who it is, getting a mentor is a huge step in the original work and final product. I also want to go on as many interviews as possible to expand who I can choose from for my mentor.
Throughout this upcoming week, I would like to get all of my assignments done on time, and avoid procrastinating any more than I have so far. Furthermore, I believe it will be interesting to see how I rank up with my classmates when it comes to speeches, and I can't wait to hear what feedback they have for me.
